23 december 2008-training feedbacks...
points to take away...

i would want you all to wear the STANDARD socks for training .....
1) it shows how much you want to win the competition..( if you can't achieve this simple task, that shows if you are ready for the competition....)

beloh..
1) however the outer rank is still taking too small curve..make a bigger radius curve would be better

hormat menerima..
1) make sure your hormat with a jerk...
2) receive article with a jerk as well... make sure elbows are STRAIGHT.....
3) ending hormat ends with a jerk as well....

jerking of marching....
1) just like what i mentioned .. in the demo i given to you
2) i want the marching arms to cut down swifty and swing to the back .... this will create the sharpness.. of course .. the whole squad must perform this together in order for it to look nice and smart...

bangings of drills...
1) no need to say.. when you all are serious.. the bangings are constantly improving... shows that if you are all serious.... you can even improve better
2) however.. remember you need to raise your leg to 90 degree in order to achieve a better effect..

looking up dont look at me!
1) i think i repeated this sentence like countless times.. yes.. always look up and do not look at the commander or look front ... or even down..... always look UP!...
2) I could really see that there is a improvement in your posture when you look up... so always look up ... with looking up.. it will be easier to pull back your shoulder.....and stomach in chest out posture...

simple mistakes you should not be committing..
1) when you turn there should be sharpness in turning.. turn at the balls of your feet..
2) when you marching.. kick your knee cap straight before you land.. you will be able to find yourself not dragging your shoe....
3) when sediya... do not do "chicken wing" arms should be kept by the sides at all time... you are not even suppose to leave a gap of 1 cm... during when you senang diri and sediya.. you arms are suppose to only glide along your body .. you are not suppose to lift them up or let loose...
which is why i kept testing you if you have loosen your arms by swinging my arms against yours..
4)pusing on the march.. i notice there is no sharpness when you pusing on the march... make sure when you do a ke-blakang pusin on the march .. you have 90 45 45 degree footsteps.. and always keep your arms by the sides.... some applies when your pusing to left or right..
5) arm swing of marching.. should be to the front and to the back .. not to diagonally to sides...
6) clenching of fist.. i still notice some of you are not clenching your fist.. its VERY obvious....
7) locking of arms.. i could still see some of you not locking of arms...
8)when you bang your heels must be a V-shape and heels touching heels.. your heels shouldn't be shuffling after your bang that is a bad habit...
9) jerk every movement you have.. do not slack a single bit...
10) hentak taki do not bounce.. keep the momentum on .. and 90 degree leg
11) yang tinggi .. do not look at the floor .. maintain the same posture that you have in your stationery drill...do not push around.. bang at the back if you want to go in the line...

lastly,

for those who are suppose to be in the competition and not coming for the training..

i strongly urge you to come for the training as
1) we need to have the training as a full squad in order to prepare for the comepetition...training without a full squad is still however not good enough...
2) you need to learn your fancy drill footsteps...( for the second part of the competition if we get in)

although the teachers are not able to be there for you but you still have your ncos...your ncos are able to take lead for the coming obstacles...(however please do take care of yourself in the training as we are not responsible for any accidents that happen)

regards,
guo ying
