23 december 2008-training feedbacks...
points to take away...

i would want you all to wear the STANDARD socks for training .....
1) it shows how much you want to win the competition..( if you can't achieve this simple task, that shows if you are ready for the competition....)

beloh..
1) however the outer rank is still taking too small curve..make a bigger radius curve would be better

hormat menerima..
1) make sure your hormat with a jerk...
2) receive article with a jerk as well... make sure elbows are STRAIGHT.....
3) ending hormat ends with a jerk as well....

jerking of marching....
1) just like what i mentioned .. in the demo i given to you
2) i want the marching arms to cut down swifty and swing to the back .... this will create the sharpness.. of course .. the whole squad must perform this together in order for it to look nice and smart...

bangings of drills...
1) no need to say.. when you all are serious.. the bangings are constantly improving... shows that if you are all serious.... you can even improve better
2) however.. remember you need to raise your leg to 90 degree in order to achieve a better effect..

looking up dont look at me!
1) i think i repeated this sentence like countless times.. yes.. always look up and do not look at the commander or look front ... or even down..... always look UP!...
2) I could really see that there is a improvement in your posture when you look up... so always look up ... with looking up.. it will be easier to pull back your shoulder.....and stomach in chest out posture...

simple mistakes you should not be committing..
1) when you turn there should be sharpness in turning.. turn at the balls of your feet..
2) when you marching.. kick your knee cap straight before you land.. you will be able to find yourself not dragging your shoe....
3) when sediya... do not do "chicken wing" arms should be kept by the sides at all time... you are not even suppose to leave a gap of 1 cm... during when you senang diri and sediya.. you arms are suppose to only glide along your body .. you are not suppose to lift them up or let loose...
which is why i kept testing you if you have loosen your arms by swinging my arms against yours..
4)pusing on the march.. i notice there is no sharpness when you pusing on the march... make sure when you do a ke-blakang pusin on the march .. you have 90 45 45 degree footsteps.. and always keep your arms by the sides.... some applies when your pusing to left or right..
5) arm swing of marching.. should be to the front and to the back .. not to diagonally to sides...
6) clenching of fist.. i still notice some of you are not clenching your fist.. its VERY obvious....
7) locking of arms.. i could still see some of you not locking of arms...
8)when you bang your heels must be a V-shape and heels touching heels.. your heels shouldn't be shuffling after your bang that is a bad habit...
9) jerk every movement you have.. do not slack a single bit...
10) hentak taki do not bounce.. keep the momentum on .. and 90 degree leg
11) yang tinggi .. do not look at the floor .. maintain the same posture that you have in your stationery drill...do not push around.. bang at the back if you want to go in the line...

lastly,

for those who are suppose to be in the competition and not coming for the training..

i strongly urge you to come for the training as
1) we need to have the training as a full squad in order to prepare for the comepetition...training without a full squad is still however not good enough...
2) you need to learn your fancy drill footsteps...( for the second part of the competition if we get in)

although the teachers are not able to be there for you but you still have your ncos...your ncos are able to take lead for the coming obstacles...(however please do take care of yourself in the training as we are not responsible for any accidents that happen)

18 December 2008- Footdrill Training

Points to take away for everyone...

As I have mentioned to each and everyone already.. I shall address the general things that you all need to take note of

For the male
1. Collar need to improve- not standing enough
2. No spectacle hook
3. Belt tuck in
4. Cut off fluffy protrucing object
5. Pocket must be ironed flat
6. Pant line must be ironed prominently
7. Enrolment badge not pointing towards the tips
8. No ankle socks
9. Sleeves line must be ironed prominently

For the female
1. Thin socks
2. Collar must be very flat
3. Collar must be under your rank button on the shoulder
4. No spectable hook
5. Ear stud must be transparent white
6. Nametag must be between the first and second button and align to the centre of your right uniform line
7. beret must seasoned with lines
8. Hair must be Stuffed into your beret with whatever means. e.g Pins and Clips
9. Sleeve line must be iron prominently
10. Hair band must be Black colour
11. Belt Out of place easily - check with seniors how to fixed the belt so that your belt wont be out of place in the middle of doing drills.
12. Socks too low- check with seniors what is the correct way of folding socks
13. No THICK SOCKS IS ALLOWED
14. Cut off fluffy protrucing object

Footdrill....
1. Banging- Listen to timing and feel for each other movement when banging together

2. Arms coordinations- glance to the left and right when swinging of arms to the front and the back and swing together with the rest. FEEL FOR THE MOVEMENT for the arm swing.

3. arm locking- Arms must be locked at ALL POINTS OF TIME. doesnt mean you are slacking we NCOS or me personally can't see them .. we are just keeping quiet..

4. hands clenching- Hands must be CLENCHED AT ALL TIME WHEN YOU swing your arm to the front and back. Same applies here ..doesn't mean you are slacking we can't se them.. we are just keeping quiet

5. Posture- Chin up 45 Degrees. Pulled back shoulder. DO NOT LOOK AT THE FLOOR WHEN DOING DRILLS!.. however .. only can move your eyeballs

6. Jerking of movement- when executing any drills. movement must be sharp and jerkful. ESPECIALLY MARCHING, HORMAT, TURNING TO YOUR SIDES COMMAND

7. Arm swings- Infront 90 Degrees Behind 45 Degrees

8. Dragging of shoe- NO DRAGGING OF SHOE when marching.

9. Arms Locked by the side- When executing drills with on hands movement needed. ARMS ARE TO BE LOCKED TIGHTLY BY THE SIDE!!!!

10. Beloh- Need to be very focused

Today I can really see improvement towards the end of the trianing..

1. bangings were really not bad at the end of the training.

2. belohs were improving a lot compared to the beginning

3. arms coordination slightly improve but still a lot room for improvement.

( note that you are doing drills as a squard not individual feel the movement of the arm swing or any other command as a whole squard)

4. improvement of no dragging of shoe heard

there shouldnt be any rank discrimination or standard deprivation because of different rank..

junior can even do better than seniors if you think you can.. so go ahead and TRAIN HARD AS YOU CAN!

lastly I would like to end with a picture that I manage to find on your yingxuan maam's blog.

Who Dares TO SAY BENDEMEER CANT WIN !
